We discussed the Committee’s advisory role and decision-making boundaries.

Began working on a vision for land use and community development in Area A.

We discussed the draft vision statement and worked on some draft guiding principles for land use planning in Area A. 

Then we discussed some of the key issues in the Area and opportunities to review parts of the current OCP. 

Steering Committee members meet to review and discuss material presented by RDKB staff. This material and steering committee comments and recommendations helps shape what will be focused on in the Official Community Plan.
