  • Informed Consent Statement

    This short survey about backyard farming/food growing and emergency preparedness is being conducted by RDKB Area 'A' in partnership with the Rural Development Institute at Selkirk College.

    The purpose of this survey is to help researchers understand how prepared RDKB Area 'A' residents are for the impacts of climate change. The survey is part of a larger project reporting on key indicators of climate change adaptation and preparedness in Area A. Study results will be reported in late fall 2019. Click here for more information on the study.

    This survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete and your responses are anonymous. Your participation is voluntary and you may choose to end the survey at any time. You may also skip a question if you do not want to answer it. There are no known risks if you decide to participate in this survey. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
